| My father's slides
John M Taylor (1930-1963) For forty years, these slides sat in a brown paper bag and moved from Hayward to Fair Oaks to Folsom to Placerville and back to Fair Oaks, where I acquired a slide scanner and scanned them. My father, who passed away in 1963 at the age of 33, had been something of an amateur photographer. These photos were taken during his stretch in the Navy and as a young husband and father to my mother. |
